    As an Personnel Security Specialist, you will be responsible for:

    • Providing technical assistance in the support of implementation of the Agency's Personnel Security Program.
    • Processing and tracking all background investigations.
    • Operating office automation equipment/software in order to prepare correspondence and reports associated with personnel security matters in accordance with established procedures and OIG policy.
    • Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating investigative forms for non-sensitive, public trust and/or national security positions to identify potential security problems or concerns.
    • Providing visitors and callers with information and assistance concerning their background investigations.
    • Performing in-depth analysis and evaluation of Personnel Security Investigations, security files and other information containing derogatory or sensitive information.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
