    Summary

    This position is located in the Office of Administration. The Human Resources Assistant provides technical support for performance of a wide range of Human Resource (HR) operations to include performance management and awards; staffing and classification, benefits and training and/or payroll. Provides customer support for time and attendance; pay and benefits, navigating HR web based programs and records management.

    Responsibilities

    Duties include but are not limited to the following:

    • Assisting with the completion of documents and forms.
    • Using the National Finance Center (NFC) automated pay system to update, query, retrieve, and analyze information.
    • Conducting new employee orientation.
    • Processing and documenting a full range of personnel actions.
    • Resolving a variety of non-standard personnel issues related to pay, within-grade increases, service computation dates, accuracy of data on the SF-50 or e-OPF.
