    Responsibilities

    At the entry level of this position, you will:

    -Conduct economic analyses of the costs, benefits, and socio-economic impacts of pesticide-related regulations consistent with statutory requirements.

    -Conduct economic analyses to support pesticide-related programs and projects within and outside EPA.

    -Conduct mathematical and statistical modeling to assess the economic impacts of pesticide regulation.  

    -Prepare reports to support pesticide policies and regulations.

    -Attend meetings within the scientific community on economics and issues related to the regulation of pesticides and the environment.

    When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.

    You will spend 10% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
