    This position is located in the Directorate of Domestic Operations (DO), Office of Domestic Facilities Protection (DFP), Uniformed Protection Division (UPD), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS).

    The incumbent is responsible for administrative, logistical, and organizational issues for the Office and provides special assistant expertise to the Office Director and Division Chiefs.

    • Provides consultation to managers in the planning, development, and implementation of DFP programs, policies, and plans to ensure overall coordination of DFP activities and operations within the Department and with other relevant organizations.
    • Responds to requests from the Front Office, the Department, Capitol Hill, other agencies, and other directorates within the Bureau related to DO’s mission.
    • Controls information entering and leaving the office by tracking and assigning products and projects and by reviewing and recommending clearance of reports, memoranda, and other communications throughout the Office in a timely and effective manner.
    • Establishes administrative goals and objectives to promote efficiency and productivity to fulfill mission requirements.
