As a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Perform administrative and analytical duties related to accounts receivable, collections and aging activities.
- Act as liaison between the Business Center and the AFRH Residents to ensure timely submission of financial information in the database for billing accuracy.
- Perform root cause analysis on Accounts Receivable delinquencies and collections to ensure corrective actions are taken to resolve issues in a sensitive manner along with Resident Services and Management.
- Plan, organize, carry out and coordinate annual and multi-year detailed budget plans, forecast in support of multiple assigned programs, and monitor budget execution.
- Recommend adjustments, such as redistribution of funds within budget accounts, in response to changes in programs, staffing levels and or funds available.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Interpreting and analyzing accounting reports in order to brief superiors; AND
- Perform administrative and analytical duties related to accounts receivable, billing and collections. AND
- Applying Agencies / Organizations policies and procedures in relation to commonly used budget or financial practices.
OR
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
- You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
If qualifying based on education it must be in one of the following fields -- finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position, such as agriculture, agricultural economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
