    This position is part of the Strategic Communications Staff (SCS) of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) located at 950 Pennsylvania Ave., NW in Washington, DC. The SCS performs outreach and public affairs duties to enhance the United States Attorneys community's visibility and interactions with its primary constituencies, the local media, the law enforcement community, government officials, and civic organizations.

    As a Strategic Communications Specialist, some of your duties will include:

    -Perform outreach activities designed to disseminate information to a variety of audiences and promote understanding of the Department of Justice's United States Attorneys Offices' (USAO) missions, programs, initiatives and priorities.
    -Develop and implement a variety of external and internal communication strategies for EOUSA and the USAOs.
    -Coordinate the day-to-day work activity of SCS staff in conjunction with the priorities and direction of the Assistant Director.
    -Evaluate web-based/social media development and practices in order to ensure delivery of EOUSA/USAO content messaging incorporates the most up-to-date practices.
    -Conduct liaison activities with DOJ Office of Public Affairs, federal law enforcement, public affairs officials, USAO Public information Officers, and United States Attorneys.

    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
