    About the Position: This Interdisciplinary, GS-1301/1302-13 position is located in the U.S. Army Public Health Center, Laboratory Services Directorate, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

    • Serve as the Laboratory Program Manager for Industrial Hygiene (IH).
    • Responsible for planning and directing major functions such as expert consultation on industrial hygiene sampling and analysis, industrial hygiene analytical methods, and new novel sampling and analytical techniques.
    • Coordinate with internal and external industrial hygiene customers, Laboratory Sciences (LS) management, external agencies, and oversight organizations to ensure the production of appropriate, accurate, and timely industrial hygiene analytical results.
    • Advise customers on the collection and analysis of the full range of occupational health threats to include military specific hazards.
    • Provides expert guidance advice on IH health risk assessments in addition to providing leadership on development and implementation of technical policy directives and programs, identification of problems, and providing information and evaluation of recent trends and findings.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
