    Licensed Practical Nurse assigned to the Gardnerville CBOC provides technical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients according to a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse utilizing Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) requirements.

    Responsible for patient care activities for adult and geriatric patients. Performs each of the identified elements on a daily basis as assigned. Does so in a safe, effective manner, adhering to standards and criteria identified in Medical Center/Health Care System manuals and current practice. Performs, reports, and records the assigned nursing care in the Gardnerville CBOC including but not limited to: Vital Signs including pulse, blood pressure, respiration, temperature, pain level ,perform diabetic foot screening including visual screening, pulses and sensation, pulses; apical, carotid, pedal per protocol , obtains and forwards blood, Urine and other samples for laboratory testing ordered by a provider and in accordance with facility guidelines, Neurological vital signs,obtaining EKG, obtaining pulse oximetry, oxygen therapy per protocol, Glucometer and blood pressure cuff teaching, height/weight,administers Hepatitis series, influenza, pneumococcal, tetanus and other vaccinations, etc..

    Work Schedule: 8:00 am. - 4: 30 pm. Monday through Friday
