    The substance use disorder psychiatrist performs general psychiatric assessment and treatment in a multidisciplinary setting. You must be skilled in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology including Suboxone and must be able to provide a comprehensive clinical/psychiatric summary. You will work to ensure accreditation requirements are met including reviewing checklists for compliance with The Joint Commission, CARF, and/or HAP.

    • Provide treatment for beneficiaries with general psychiatric and substance abuse disorders in a variety of treatment settings including the residential treatment unit.
    • Complete clinical reminders, encounters, and clinical pertinence reviews as directed.
    • Engage in a collaborative agreement with a nurse practitioner and/or provide clinical supervision to a physician assistant.
    • Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and fellows on rotation on the inpatient unit.
    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (with rotating primary and back-up call, and the option of work assignment for extended clinic hours).
