    The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing mental health in primary care to Veterans to Post 9/11 Veterans who maybe transitioning out of the military. The Position will work with in the Post Deployment Clinics in our Primary Care Clinics and works very closely with Primary Care, Mental Health , and Transition and Case Management teams. The position will primarily be located in Lincoln with occasional travel. Position will provide weekly telehealth sessions across all sites. Post deployment clinics provide services to transitioning service members and Post 9/11 Veterans through a one-stop model of care. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Mental Health and or Primary Care. Additional experiences with Military knowledge and resource awareness is ideal. The duties include but are not limited to:
    - Conduct Mental Health assessments and coordinates treatment according to presenting problems.
    - Provide on-going treatment to Veterans assigned to panel.
    - Assist in and participate as part of the interdisciplinary team to ensure Veterans assigned to the clinic are getting care needs and health concerns addressed.
    - Provide outreach to increase the engagement and vesting of Transitioning service members and Veterans in primary care/ mental health services.
    - Provide complex medical evaluations to Veterans who have chronic substance abuse issues including developing harm reduction plans to promote safety.

    Work Schedule: Variable hours, although typically Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the potential for modified tours to include early/late hours and weekend work hours based upon mission requirements.
