    The individual selected for this position serves as a Community Relations Specialist assigned to various programs and projects specifically having responsibility for strategic communications and outreach within the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) and serves as the primary point of contact for Contracting Officer Representative (COR) work.

    Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):

    • Serves as a key member of a team that builds coalitions and partnerships between VA OSP and Community stakeholders, including the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Health and Human Services and private sector partners
    • Provides oversight and leadership for the analysis, implementation, spread, and maintenance of OSP strategic communications and outreach projects and initiatives related to mental health and/or public health and/or suicide prevention
    • Provides consultative support and completes all COR activities for OSP communications contracts
    • Performs other related duties as assigned
    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
