As the Exec. Asst. to the Associate Director and assists in carrying out all day-to-day administrative operations including coordinating assigned activities and functions conducted by the Associate Director. The Executive Assistant is responsible for analysis and reporting on a wide variety of operational issues and utilizes extensive, general knowledge of health care delivery systems to solve the unique problems arising in these systems. This position is responsible for overall coordination and management of the administrative services' performance management goals. The incumbent utilizes broad, specialized knowledge of the missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of health care delivery system (resources, programs, affiliations, demographics, etc.) to provide expert analysis and to advise and assist top management. The incumbent functions as the Executive Assistant to the Associate Director in this complex, affiliated, tertiary care medical center and serves as principle advisor to top-level management in the areas of health systems management and operations. The incumbent is responsible for analysis and reporting on a wide variety of operational issues and utilizes extensive, general knowledge of health care delivery systems to solve the unique problems arising in these systems. This position is responsible for overall coordination and management of the administrative services performance management goals. In this capacity, incumbent plans and schedules work necessary for the coordination and implementation of performance management implementation initiatives.
There is no educational substitution at this grade level.
