    As a Director, Community and Supportive Services (CSS), you will:
    - Provide nationwide technical support to housing authorities as well as HUD field staff with the goal of leveraging improvements in education, health, safety and employment.
    - Possess an in-depth knowledge regarding self-sufficiency and remains knowledgeable about the latest research in order to consider and make recommendations regarding HUD policy in this area as it relates to public and assisted housing.
    - Independently handle a variety of projects to be worked on with one or more members of CSS and OPHI staff, other Departmental staff; developing policies and procedures related to innovative performance of supportive service programs, facilitating non-traditional public private partnerships to address the needs of PHAs, HUD-assisted residents and other community members. 

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - 1 to 5 nights monthly
