    Summary

    The incumbent works as a member of the NFS health care team providing clerical and administrative support to assist NFS staff with the accurate production of meals in Seattle inpatients and approved outpatients, customer service (including timely phone support) to the wards and the clinical dietitians and the accurate timekeeping for the Seattle NFS employees.

    Responsibilities

    The duties includes but not limited to:

    • Tracking daily attendance, overtime, unscheduled hours, leave balances per employee;
    • Provides performance data to supervisors and management to assist in the development of management reports;
    • Runs meal production reports for inpatient food services and adjusts reports using forecasted patient census data;
    • Ensure accuracy of tray tickets including diet changes, patient preferences, and special diet needs;
    • Reviews meal production reports for accuracy of meal components, notifies ADPAC RD, Supervisor, Lead cook of any potential errors;
    • Maintains filing system for reports and timekeeping records;
    • Prints copies of and distributes weekly regular menu to each nursing unit and posts menu throughout kitchen area;
    • Answers phones in courteous manner, maintains confidentiality of patient and personal information:
    • Serves as back up NFS Diet Technician as needed.


    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
