    This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Program Manager who will exercise staff supervision over the acquisition, utilization, management, disposal, and internal controls of Mobile Assets under the jurisdiction of the agency.

    As a Mobile Assets Program Manager GS 0301 15, your typical work assignments may include:

    1. Providing advice, guidance, and liaison services for complex issues within mobile assets relating to the accountability, maintenance, disposal and internal controls for mobile assets.
    2. Providing administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit.
    3. Formulating and implementing agency -wide policies and procedures with national or international impacts, such as those affecting acquisition, maintenance, utilization, and disposal.
    4. Developing innovative strategies for scheduling, tracking, estimating, and budgeting.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
