    This is a Bargaining Unit position.
    This is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP).

    This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Capital Access, Office of Financial Assistance, Secondary Market located in Washington, DC.

    Responsibilities

    • Initiate decisions on development of program policy and procedures involving Small Business Administration loan and pool security settlements.
    • Conduct market research and comparative analyses leading to program improvements to existing sales settlement process.
    • Perform contracting administration duties to include: participating in federal contract acquisition planning, drafting of solicitation materials and conducting evaluations and recommending awards.
    • Prepare written reports and other program documents for briefings and official publication.
    • Participate in discussions and/or negotiations with financial industry professionals, trade representatives and bank regulatory officials on implications of Agency actions.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
