Under the direction of the CSWMD Education Coordinator, administers CSWMD educational programs and courses, including the Program for Emerging Leaders (PEL), Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Graduate Fellowship (CWMD Graduate Fellowship), WMD Spotlight Seminar and NDU elective courses. Specific duties include:
-Prepare and disseminate recruitment materials for CSWMD education programs and courses, and plan and conduct related outreach activities and events.
-Plan and coordinate administrative arrangements for classes, events and other activities for the conduct of CSWMD education programs and courses, including developing itineraries, arranging for facilities, and coordinating visits, including travel, when required, of students and participating outside faculty and experts.
-Procure or otherwise acquire instructional and other educational materials for the conduct of CSWMD education programs and courses.
-Establish and maintain information resources for students and faculty interested or participating in CSWMD education programs and courses, including program websites, program and course catalogues, access to online instructional materials, answers to frequently asked questions, contact information.
-Manage the databases and electronic and paper files for student administration and faculty support, including applications, admissions, course registration, evaluation records, and alumni records.
-Develop cost estimates and budgets for the administration of CSWMD education programs and courses.
-Conduct research to support the development, planning, and execution of the administrative aspects of CSWMD educational programs and courses.
Background or Security Investigation: This is a Special Sensitive position which requires a background investigation. The individual selected for this position is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security determination to occupy a Special Sensitive position within the agency as a condition of employment.
This is a Title 10 Excepted Service Appointment. Appointment is not to exceed 3 years with the possibility for extension.
