A minimum of 6 months of work experience directly related to the duties described above, that included skill in working with professional kitchen appliances and equipment.
Be able to communicate (verbal and written) in English.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. on a routine basis.
HIGHLY PREFERRED: Current ServSafe Certification (must provide a copy of the certificate at the time of application).

Fort Myer traces its origins to the Civil War and Fort McNair has been an Army post for more than 200 years. Henderson Hall provides barracks and support for Marines assigned to Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps as well as certain schools and agencies in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
This is a Nonappropriated Fund Regular Part-Time (RPT) position that includes NAF Benefits, with 20 guaranteed work hours per administrative week. This position provides food preparation for children ages 6 months to 18 years of age. The incumbent must be available to work a designated shift (not to exceed 8 scheduled hours) between the hours of 6:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. May require early morning, mid day or late shifts. The incumbent may be required to work before and/or after scheduled work hours, special events and weekends, etc.
