• Help




    • Train laboratory staff on methods and procedures used in the laboratory, as well as on the use of laboratory equipment.
    • Plan, develop, implement and manage all experiments and experimental protocols in a laboratory;
    • Critically analyze results of experiments to determine whether data is valid;
    • Analyze and interpret data, and prepare summaries of laboratory findings in final form for publication in reports and papers to be presented at scientific meetings or publication in scientific journals;
    • Calibrate and operate a variety of laboratory instruments used to perform tests, analyses, and other laboratory procedures and ensure equipment is in working order;
    • Manage laboratory budget;
    • Review scientific journals, abstracts on current research and new methodological developments in the field; and
    • Recommend, develop, and modify methods and procedures to meet experimental objectives.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
