    Summary

    You will serve as a RESEARCH PSYCHOLOGIST in the National Capitol Region, Medical Affairs, Clinical Support Division, Connected Health Branch of the DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY.

    Responsibilities

    • You will serve as a research psychologist/program manager for several of Connect Health Branch programs.
    • You will provide expertise in areas of psychology such as telepsychological health, operational psychology, combat operational stress control, military psychology, and Soldier and Family and Veteran's needs associated with deployments.
    • You will conduct research on the effectiveness of web and mobile based solutions.
    • You will apply research techniques including laboratory or field experimentation, interviews, surveys, field observation, psychological statistical methods, or other approaches.
    • You will serve as advisor and consultant in specialized areas of web and mobile-based models of treatment, automated surveys, computer hardware, software, existing clinical protocols, research literature, and research protocols.
    • You will report research findings, results, and recommendations in briefings, professional papers, technical reports, book chapters, and/or other formats which offer maximum possibility for use and implementation of results.

    Occasional travel - Travel is dependent upon position description and availability of funding.
