    About the Position: Air and Missile Defense (AMD) is one of the Army's top modernization priorities and critical to winning in a fight against a "near-power" adversary. The AMD strategy is to rapidly integrate and synchronize the requirements development process, the acquisition process, and the resources needed to deliver Air and Missile Defense capabilities to the warfighter. As a Systems Engineer you will provide engineering and integration services for AMD prototype development.

    • Supporting the development and/or coordination of material requirements documents, technical specifications and related materials such as Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data, and integrated system support plans.
    • Appling knowledge of system engineering and integration principles for prototype development and analyses in support of the organization, to include analysis of alternatives (AoAs), Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) and other comparative analyses.
    • Identifying problems, determining accuracy and relevance of information and using sound engineering judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
    • Supporting the synchronization of all aspects of system development, testing and evaluation, corrective actions, acquisition, materiel release, and deployment.
    • Participating in all design reviews. Reviewing and evaluating proposed actions and engineering change proposals for the organizations projects to ensure that user requirements are adequately addressed.
