This position reports to the Chief of Anesthesiology and Section Chief for pain management in Gainesville. Selectee will be expected to embrace the Whole Health Model of care to empower and equip patients suffering from pain. The selectee will provide all aspects of chronic pain management (including radio frequency rhizotomy, surgical implantation of intrathecal pumps and spinal cord stimulators) and should be proficient in the management of complex pain syndromes.
Selectee is expected to advance interdisciplinary communication and cooperation among specialists caring for person with a pain disorders at Jacksonville Provides expert diagnostic and management services for complex and severe clinical problems related to pain medicine. The selectee after hours care coverage of Pain Management patients is not currently required, but may become necessary with development of an invasive pain management programs.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Education and length of practice will be considered by a Compensation Panel in determining the final compensable salary (Base Pay + Market Pay).
