    This position is part of the Defense Media Activity, Defense Media Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for participating, establishing and maintaining policy and compliance within the Defense Media Activity Contracting Office.

    Responsibilities

    As a PROCUREMENT ANALYST at the GS-1102-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:

    • Serve as a procurement technical expert for initiatives such as designing and implementing a quality assurance process for reviewing pre/post contracting files, preparing/creating/analyzing metrics for internal/external reporting and maintenance of pertinent records.
    • Identify key problem areas and recommend solutions in the performance Quality Assurance Reviews for in-process, pre-award/post award contract review functions on Acquisitions performed.
    • Present findings and develop remedial action plans to the Chief of contracting and DMA Acquisition and Procurement Director.
    • Serve as the Government Purchase Card Agency Program Coordinator/Alternate Coordinator (A/OPC) and is an active team member of the Plans and Compliance Branch.
    • Resolve program payment, policy and other issues for the GPCP. Develop and write internal control requirements, policies, reporting mechanisms and surveillance plans.
