    The incumbent is a registered professional nurse responsible for the assessment, planning, provision, and evaluation of nursing services in the Miami Outpatient Specialty Clinics, which includes GI, Chemo, Allergy, Neurology, Dermatology, Gynecology, Pulmonary, and others. The Nurse Manager is also responsible for directing and organizing the unit specific orientation, training and development of staff and for directing, supervising, and evaluating their performance. The Nurse Manager functions as a role model, educator, practitioner and manager, and provides leadership to an interdisciplinary team. The Nurse Manager maintains excellent interpersonal relationships with staff, interdisciplinary colleagues, clients and their families/significant others, and representatives from community organizations.
    SCOPE: Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate a high level of leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex patient care.

    Work Schedule: Primarily 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, but may be required to work other tours if needed for patient care.
