    Responsibilities

    This position starts at a salary of $134,789.00(GS-15, Step 1) to $164,200.00 (GS-15, Step 10) with promotion potential to $164,200.00 (GS-15, Step 10). In this position you will serve as a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals responsible for national and international intelligence programs.

    Your duties will include:

    • Serving as Director, responsible for leading and coordinating the key business and administrative support services in direct support to the Mission Readiness Directorate Executive Director (MRD ExD) for budget, financial operations, travel, logistics, procurement, personnel management, time and attendance, workload statistics, awards and recognition, performance management, property management, Self-Inspection Program (SIP), and general office governance.
    • Providing guidance, monitoring and oversight, advice and support to the Assistant Commissioner (AC) and Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) of OI, Senior Executives, Managers and staff in all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Accountability (PPBA) cycle.
    • Supervising staff who provide oversight, advice and assistance to the OI Senior Executives, Managers and personnel in all aspects of mission support functional areas.
    • Coordinating with other OI supervisors and peers to establish unit objectives, goals, priorities and deadlines and formulates plans to meet substantial changes in workload.
    • Making decisions and resolving problems involving interpretation of the law or unusual situations requiring interpretation and application of DHS policy.
