    Summary

    You will serve as the Installation Air Quality Program Manager in the Environmental Business Line of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
    This interdisciplinary position will be filled as an Environmental Engineer (0819) or Physical Scientist (1301).

    Responsibilities

    • You will provide technical expertise in air compliance issues, policies, and regulations to promote compliance with air pollution laws and regulations.
    • You will review, interpret and implement new air emissions regulations, instructions, and regulations for the command.
    • You will review and prepare environmental permits, including Title V Permits and related documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws associated with the Clean Air Act.
    • You will develop new methods and techniques and coordinate the finding as a multidisciplinary specialist working under critical time constraints.
    • You will coach junior staff as the Subject Mater Expert (SME) for technical documentation methods and apply new developments and theories to critical and novel problems.
