    You will serve as a PROTOCOL OFFICER in the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate functions (e.g., conferences, meetings, social functions, ceremonies) for a variety of groups.
    • Plan and coordinate ceremonies and social functions to welcome, honor, or entertain visitors or
      distinguished guests.
    • Advise officials on protocol and official representation funds (ORF) policy and instructions.
    • Establish working relationships with protocol professionals to conduct official business with military, civilian,
      or foreign nationals representing visiting dignitaries
    • Manage (e.g., develop, implement, execute) protocol activities (e.g., diplomatic formality, precedence,
      customs, etiquette) for VIP visits, international special events, or ceremonies.
    • Write procedures and guidance on etiquette and protocol for dealing with high-level officials and dignitaries
    • Brief managers on protocol for upcoming visits

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
