    The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate all protocol functions on the installation. Plans, manages, coordinates, advises, executes and trains on matters pertaining to protocol. Serves as an event planner for visits by distinguished visitors/groups for a variety of events including special purpose meetings, awards presentations, various ceremonies, etc.

    • Arranges for various ceremonies, conferences, social functions, luncheons, formal dinners, etc. Serves as a member of receiving party upon arrival of distinguished visitors.
    • Tasks may include compiling agendas, schedules, and program materials, arranging sites, transportation, lodging, after-hours entertainment, etc., and contacting/coordinating with participants involved. Creates and maintains all protocol databases.
    • Provides policy guidance to the staff, management representatives, associate unit organizations and customers. Prepares documentation to substantiate and project expenditures of protocol funds.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel on military or commercial aircraft for this position.
