Serves as Logistics Management Specialist for Headquarters (HQ) U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC). The position is responsible for property accountability to include the scheduling of inventory and management of hand receipt holder accounts throughout the Army Futures Command headquarters and subordinate organizations. Duties include the proper and timely maintaining of all property accountability records. Delegated authority as the Property Book Officer (PBO), which also entails the management of records for all leased, loaned and borrowed equipment, and the management of records for all equipment transferred to and from property books within and outside assigned organizations. The property book, Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), and the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) are utilized for this purpose to ensure that all non-expendable property is accounted for and transactions are accurately processed. Duties are performed in a customer-oriented organization where the exercise of teamwork, excellent customer service and relations is vital. Manages Government Purchase Card program. Serves as the Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DODAAC) coordinator and Property Book Identifier (PBID) coordinator. General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBES) trained and certified.
