    · Plan, direct and coordinate electrical engineering activities for technical aspects of shipboard engineering requirements.

    · Prepare detailed specification and drawings of new and/or conversion of existing main and emergency generators, switchboards, distribution equipment, communication and branch circuits for power, lighting, and interior communication systems.

    · Prepares electrical load analysis, fault current analysis and coordination of protective devices for proposed alterations.

    · Arrange for and observe engineering tests of equipment aboard ship and evaluates data.

    · Prepares time and cost estimates for electrical and electronic installations and alterations.

    Travel Required

    50% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position.
