Incumbent will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist for the Service and Project Management Office within the Office of Information Systems Management (OISM) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The primary responsibilities are to (1) lead OISM's Service & Project Management team ensuring that OISM's service portfolio accurately reflects OISM's evolving service offerings, (2) promote service management practices that yield continuous service improvements for OISM's customers, and (3) ensure that OISM's project management cohort successfully follows OISM's project/investment portfolio intake/tracking/reporting practices. The incumbent helps the NIST CIO identify changing service opportunities, builds/sustains relationships with other NIST organizations, and assists with customer engagement through a variety of communication & partnering channels. The incumbent also provides one-on-one customer engagement for key stakeholders by identifying new customer service opportunities, and by codifying existing service agreements between OISM and customers. The incumbent will help ensure availability of services in and out of business hours as necessary to achieve overall service objectives.

Basic Requirements:
Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate
GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.

In addition to the basic requirements, applicant must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-12 level (ZP-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience managing an enterprise service management team
