    As a General Engineer, you will perform the following duties:

    • Provide project management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects and succeeding leases with a focus on relocations, succeeding leases, tenant improvements (TI), facility refurbishments, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
    • Assist in the development of National Weather Service (NWS) Facilities program of requirements, policies and procedures and prepare briefings, presentations, and project status reports for the Division.
    • Provide support to a broad range of architectural and engineering projects, to include project management of lease renewals, design, construction, scheduling, budgeting and administration of projects; encompassing safety, health and environmental aspects by assisting in the development and updates of policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with Office of Facilities staff and with NWS and General Services Administration (GSA) regional points of contact, NOAA Real Property Management Division (RPMD) and Project Planning and Management Division (PPMD) personnel in support of projects.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Up to 20% Domestic travel may be required for this position.
