Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary, but may involve intermediate periods of walking, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, moving (up to 50 pounds) computer components and supplies, reaching, pulling and working at a keyboard and monitor.
This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-12. At the GS-9 grade level, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (Review Commission) is an independent, adjudicatory agency created by the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act). Its sole statutory mandate is to serve as an administrative court providing just and expeditious resolution of disputes involving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), employers charged with violations of Federal safety and health standards, and employees and/or their representatives.
