    About the Position: This position is located at the Resource Management Office, Joint Base Myer - Henderson Hall, Virginia.

    Fort Myer is a 15 minute commute to/from the Arlington National Cemetery Metro Station, a 10-15 minute commute to/from the Rosslyn, Virginia Metro Station, and is accessible by bus transportation. The installation is approximately 7 miles from Washington D.C. and a short distance from major roadways and express highways.

    • Develops and implements accounting policy/systems for appropriated and non-appropriated funds.
    • Provides guidance for implementation of such systems: Wide Area Workforce, Electronic Document Access, Defense Travel System, Automated Time Attendance and Production, and IMCOM Online.
    • Analyzes and develops computer system specifications and evaluates systems to determine to problems and implements solutions.
    • Assists other branch personnel in managing accounting processes/systems.
    • Monitors study and review of financial accounting systems through personal inspections tours and reports.
    • Interprets DFAS, DA, and IMCOM policy.
    • Establishes written installation policies.
    • Monitors installation accounting systems and operations based on directives, general planning guidance and policy clarification from the supervisor.
