THIS VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT HAS BEEN AMENDED TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Adapts and/or translates material from English to Korean, which may include simultaneous translations.
- Writes news-related and feature stories for use in radio, television, or Internet posting.
-Prepares targeted, well-balanced scripts for television and radio programs or program segments that capture the attention of the audience.
-Initiates and conducts original interviews with a wide variety of subjects and news sources, some of whom may be suspicious and uncooperative.
-Edits broadcast segments, including stringer reports.
-Keeps abreast of current developments in the target area in order to plan and develop program materials that are relevant and consistent with broad U.S. policy aims.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
