    If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing legal and litigative support to the attorneys in the Toledo branch office of the U.S. Attorneys Office, Northern District of Ohio. Typical work assignments will include:

    • Review, organize, and summarize complex documents and other information for investigations and trials.
    • Conduct legal research and writing.
    • Process and organize incoming pleadings and correspondence, placing deadlines for action on calendars when appropriate.
    • Prepare a variety of substantive legal documents to include memoranda, pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests, and documentation relevant to acquiring evidence or testimony.
    • Prepare exhibits for trial which typically involve a wide range of visual materials.
    • Provide litigation case management and organize cases for court or other presentation.
    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
