    The incumbent of the position performs as a Painter for the Building Maintenance Unit in Engineering Service, and is primarily assigned to the "in-house" Construction Team. The incumbent shall also be assigned other maintenance and repair duties as deemed necessary by the Building Maintenance Unit Foreman and I or the Maintenance and Repair Foreman.

    Incumbent performs assignments from oral or written work orders and schedules.
    He/she applies paint with brush, roller or spray gun to interior and exterior surfaces of the physical plant, equipment furniture etc.
    Incumbent removes old paint, applies prime coat, putties holes and cracks as well as removes vinyl wall coverings
    He/she uses equipment such as stepladders, extension ladders, scaffolds, jacks, swinging stages and various band tools.

    Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm. May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Tour of duty subject to change. Work Schedule will be further discussed during a structured interview.
