- Serve as Safety and Occupational Health Specialist for CERDEC Headquarters with broad authority to establish, monitor and create a culture of excellence in the Safety Program.
- Serves as safety expert and technical authority for innovative approaches to Safety, including cultural change, to prevent accidents and to design future safety systems within CERDEC.
- Responsible for a variety of diverse programs and services at a large multi-mission engineering center. Responsible for complex safety programs; including all program elements outlined in table 1-1 of AR 385-10, The Army Safety Program.
- Assist with implementation of a comprehensive safety program involving a variety of industrial processes, shops, equipment, material, and machinery, some of which are unconventional and unique, highly hazardous and/or involve dangerous materials.
