    Responsibilities

    • Incumbent serves as a professional engineer in a Contract Management Office (CMO) of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
    • Perform all work in accordance with agency policies, standards, metrics and standard operating procedures for effective contract administration of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisitions.
    • Conduct Contract Receipt and Review (CRR) functions related to contract cost, schedule and performance for buying activities and DCMA elements.
    • Plan, execute, and document surveillance of design, development, and production efforts at contractor facilities on behalf of the CMO using the performance indicators identified in DCMA engineering surveillance processes.
    • Apply the DCMA engineering surveillance performance indicators to assess the contractor?s performance and provide feedback to the Chief Engineer (CE).
    • Provides engineering Technical Support to Pricing (TSP) and cost analysis reviews for proposals.
    • Prepare, provide, and evaluate documentation regarding specific engineering and manufacturing questions requiring resolution.

    Occasional travel - Business Travel is required 5% of the time.
