    Summary

    The incumbent of this position primary purpose is to accomplish VetPro credentialing: however, he/she also provides administrative and technical support of the Nursing Recruiter's Office and back up for the Nursing Board Process. This includes, but is not limited to, special projects, assisting applicants with employment information, Etc.

    Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.

    The major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Gathering information, identifying and analyzing issues, and developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency of work operation of the credentialing program.
    • Training of users, which includes current employees, applicants and other staff, on the VetPro System.
    • Analyzes and prepares programs status reports as needed, understanding the relationship between the credentialing process and the appointment process including the Nurse professional Standards board process and conditions of employment.
