    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a Deputy Team Lead and Supervisory Information Technology (IT) Specialist for NETCOM, Cyber Protection Detachment.
    • Supervise and provide technical and administrative supervision to civilian employees who perform the IT roles of Systems Architect and Network Infrastructure Specialists.
    • Provide support to military teams on a matrix basis supporting Cyber inspection, operations support, threat mitigation, counter-infiltration and threat emulation, cyber incident response and cyber source analysis.
    • Identify and integrate internal and external program issues affecting the immediate organization.
    • Recommend resources to devote to particular projects or activities.
    • Review and approve the substance of reports, decisions, incident investigations, or other action documents to assure that they accurately reflect the policies and requirements of the Command.
    • Prepare and present briefings and reports on complex and controversial Network Operations/Information Assurance/Cyber Defense issues, staff studies on networking, information security and investigating action items.

    Travel Required

    50% or less - Up to 30% Business Travel required.
