    The primary purpose of this position is to install, adjust, align, troubleshoot, and perform final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components, such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Performs troubleshooting on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components.
    • Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components.
    • Accomplishes operational and maintenance record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair.
    • Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regularions and maintains a safe and clean work area.
    • Determines the nature of trouble and extent of adjustment or repair required on a number of major aircraft systems such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic
