    A Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-09, Exercises knowledge and application of DA, DLA, NGB, and State ARNG directives, policies and procedures, subsistence handling, storage, and sanitation methodology, plus prime vendor food service ordering system, in addition to basic subsistence accounting procedures. Maintains oversight of daily, weekly, monthly, and long term system requirements, ARNG Readiness Center equipment modifications, and requirements to meet current workload demands. Budgets for subsistence operations and subsistence requirements, including operational ration ceilings. Assesses use of facilities and equipment to ensure expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse impact on normal, recurring work. Provides technical liaison service to each ARNG unit, prime vendor, and other vendor companies. Provides subsistence support for troop movements, maneuvers, and emergency and contingency plan requirement. Performs oversight of customer and stockage requirements determination process and proper pricing of subsistence. Coordinates prime vendor and other vendor deliveries to ARNG dining facilities and Unit Readiness Centers as required. Computes and publishes the BDFA for the State. Initiates, accomplishes and maintains vulnerability assessments, internal control reviews and proponent checklists. Monitors State ARNG federally funded Readiness Centers and ARNG Dining Facilities to ensure they remain within authorized standards and that required reviews are conducted. Performs other duties as assigned.
