    This vacancy will be filled as an Interdisciplinary position in any of the following series: Geography (0150); Archeology (0193); General Natural Resources Management and Biological Sciences (0401); Ecology (0408); Botany (0430); Forestry (0460); Environmental Engineering (0819); or General Physical Science(1301).

    • Evaluate all levels and types of Department of the Army (DA) permit application, compliance and enforcement cases (including those complex and/or controversial in nature) for activities in waters of the United States.
    • Develop and manage general permits.
    • Serve as the District representative on groups and task forces with missions of interest to the District and/or the regulatory program.
    • Conduct analysis in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and Corps requirements and guidelines in the preparation of environmental assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
    • Review and manage proposals for the development of stream and wetland compensatory mitigation banks and In-lieu fee proposals.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
