    About the Position: Davison Army Airfield Management conducts continuous airfield operations in support of the National Capital Region to provide all airfield users with a safe, efficient and controlled environment for aviation and contingency operations.

    • Provide Air Traffic Control services through radar/non-radar procedures to Military District of Washington, surrounding aviation communities, airfields and Fort Belvoir by being responsible for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic .
    • Deliver instructions and advisories to ensure an orderly flow of traffic operating under Visual Flight Rule (VFR) and Instrument flight Rule (IFR).
    • Provide air traffic control assistance in accordance with Federal Administration Order 7110.65 by providing safe orderly flow of aircrafts.
    • Prepare documentation of events, accidents, emergencies, equipment outages, bomb threats, traffic counts etc. on appropriate Department of Army forms in order to implement necessary notification procedures.
    • Incumbent will be required to perform duties at the Pentagon Army Heliport.
