    The primary purpose of this position is to lead and supervise the Air Force Strategic Development Planning division to support the SECAF & CSAF in strategic decisions that guide the AF toward mission success today and in the future, within available funds and with acceptable risk.

    Position maybe duty located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, Eglin AFB, FL or the Pentagon

    • Applies knowledge of a broad range of mathematical and statistical techniques, elements of operations research theory and scientific inquiry to plan and execute Air Force Development Planning
    • Planning for Development portfolios to test and validate future war-fighting concepts and planning choices
    • Provides periodic updates on development planning processes and activities for senior DoD and Air Force leadership
    • Performs and supervises others in the technical planning, systems engineering, management and execution of all development planning efforts
    • Coordinates the contributions of professionals and specialists, notes problems that arise, and resolves differences
    • Prepares technical reports, responses to queries, justifications, and background papers on the areas of expertise and assignment
    • Manages resources and program execution to ensure timely and efficient funding expenditure in accordance with OSD goals
    • Manage and provide insight into the development and implementation of analytical tools and frameworks to support multi-domain development planning and assessment

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
