    You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENTIST/GEOPHYSICIST/OCEANOGRAPHER/MATHEMATICIAN/COMPUTER SCIENTIST in the ACOUSTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

    Responsibilities

    • You will analyze the environment for ASW RBC customers to produce Acoustic modeling/analysis products in support of ongoing and upcoming events.
    • You will analyze Tactical Decision Aids (TDA) algorithms for mathematical and physics based sound logic.
    • You will maintain proficiency in underwater acoustics theory and practical applications for the ASW community in order to perform duties of an acoustic subject matter expert for the ASW RBC.
    • You will reconstruct and analyze the environment of anomalous acoustic events for Fleet Customers to resolve and improve future performance predictions.
    • You will teach and train other military and civilian personnel in underwater acoustic phenomenon and TDA usage.
    • You will track production, security, and analyses, to include issues and resolution, in digital format to support workflow statistics and process improvement.
