The Comptroller's Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency consists of four divisions: the Budget Analysis Division, the Financial Accounting Operations Division, the Business Operations Division, and the Programming and Budget Formulation Division. The office serves as the nucleus for implementing the research work of the Agency by securing resources through the budget formulation process, issuing funds to contracting agents and performers (approximately 5000 actions yearly), and monitoring accounting and reporting operations performed by others on DARPA's behalf. Emphasis is on control procedures for providing budgetary review information and proprietary accounting data to meet both internal and external requirements.
As a Budget Analyst you will be responsible for the following duties:

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is a separately organized agency within the Department of Defense (DoD) under a Director, appointed by the Secretary of Defense. The Agency engages in advanced basic and applied research and development projects essential to DoD, and conducts prototype projects that embody technology that may be incorporated into joint programs, programs in support of deployed US forces, or selected Military Department programs.
