    This position is located in the Acquisition Directorate (AD) of Washington Headquarters Services (WHS). The mission of AD is to provide the full range of acquisition and contracting services from acquisition planning to contract close-out as the single enterprise contracting office (SECO) for the Secretary of Defense (SecDef); serving OSD components in and around the National Capital Region and beyond, enabling them to effectively and efficiently execute their missions.

    Your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • Analyzes cost and price data to negotiate and award contracts
    • Oversees cost analysis for pre-award and post-award contract termination functions
    • Oversees source selection process and ensures consistency with public laws, regulations, policies and other guidelines to meet contract award requirements
    • Evaluates unauthorized commitments and a variety of ad-hoc post award actions and proposals for termination of specialized or long-term contracts
