    You will serve as a COMPUTER SCIENTIST in the Department of the Navy of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

    • Serves as the technical authority within the Department of Defense (DoD) regarding the availability and maturity of technology for use in CNO.
    • Directs and/or participates in operational and developmental test and evaluations at various locations, to include actual operational environment.
    • Provides technical advice, equipment recommendations, and integration in the area of CNO.
    • Leverages resources, technology, and capabilities from other organizations in support of CNO-related programs.
    • Leads interagency teams comprised of technology counterparts, communications experts, senior officers and civilians (GS-13-SES/GO).
    • Acquires, evaluates, and recommends for study/development white papers/proposals from U.S. national laboratories and private industry that supports the RDT&E of new CNO concepts into technologies; provides monthly status reports in a timely manner.
